The Invisible Rabbit

Collaborating directly with Lotus Cars and the in-house Visualization team, we brought to life an epic film for the launch of Theory 1, Lotus’s first concept hypercar, embodying the company’s new design manifesto. This project was executed alongside Lotus’s senior designers and the strategy and marketing departments, working seamlessly with a team of Unreal Engine artists, CGI experts, global filmmakers, and sound designers to create a truly immersive experience.

Briefed to created a series of films that celebrate the iconic Suzuki Vitara on a grande scale. With vitality in every frame, the films displays the new Hybrid SUV effortlessly cutting through city streets, crossing over panoramic vistas with verve, grace and breath-taking cinematography. It was a pleasure working with London Agency 'Noah' and the European crew in the epic cityscapes and landscape of Romania, chasing the Vitara, the weather and being chased by Bears.

My approach was to create a series of 14 films for the new Electric Enyaq iV, focusing on people, families and moments of everyday life. Utilising a natural and intimate filming style, each film displays an effortless beauty, narrating everyday human moments , whilst “Simply Clever’ Skoda technology is able to make life easier and more enjoyable.

Shot in Lisbon in 2020 & 2021 , as the country and the rest of the World was heading into Lockdown. Working with my magnificent team under full COVID safety procedures.

My approach was to craft a series of films celebrating football and the collective betting experience with Betfair 'Combipartido.' app. Inspired by classic football brand ads, building anticipation for Euro 2024 tournament, highlighting the passion and camaraderie of fans. The films feature four spirited fans starting impromptu kick-about matches in public spaces.

Several films created for Volvo Cars for the European and US market, shot on the magnificent Isle of Skye and Glen Etive on the West Coast of Scotland. After working closely with the agency to devise the story, myself and the production team narrowed it down to a four-day recce finding 15 locations to shoot this epic story. With a tech recce and further prepping for four more days with principle crew and the client, we were then totally prepared to shoot for six days with whatever the weather could throw at us . We built fantastic relationships with the local authorities to help close roads liaising with police forces at each location to shoot this top secret car. Our 47-strong international crew embraced every aspect of this production, ensuring we all became one big Scottish family for 2 weeks.

Working for Volvo China with Grey Agency in Shanghai and the Global team in the US , together we created several films for the Chinese market, shot in just 4 days, 2 different cars , a celebrity , 5 kids, myself and a crew of 80 at times, travelling from Shanghai to Beijing to Inner Mongolia and then to the final day in the city of Tianjin. All smoothly executed by Gwantsi Production House. A fantastic trip, I love my job.

'Rugged and Refined' is how Volvo describes the V60 Cross Country, given this, the agency and myself devised a story of adventure and beauty. Shot in the magnificent Spanish Pyrenees mountains we created a story of four extreme athletes, the forth being the V60 Cross Country car. We then found our human athletes, ultra runner Anton Krupicka, mountain biker Tom Oehler, paragliding pilot Jean-Baptise Chandelier. Our fantastic Spanish production crew next helped us find our mountain roads for the backdrop to the story.

Creating multiple elements & textures for a horror feature film with Flame designer Mark Beardall. Using a rorschach test as the design brief we shot multiples of materials and objects dipped in ink, ranging from different grades of paper to a deceased Harris Hawk ( that arrived frozen in a Co-op bag ???) 
Working with propsman Ray Spencer & cameraman Phil Lane. One of my fav jobs , finished off with great sound design by Michael Powell.
